Working areas

The context of globalization, regional integration, the accelerated opening up of the economy and technological development require a constant analysis so that the cooperative companies can be competitive.

To that end, CAF has three integrated working areas:

  • The representation of its members
  • Communications and broadcasting
  • A projects and development unit

Cooperatives and Rural Development Societies members of CAF

Over 50 cooperative organizations make up a national network covering 15,000 associated producers

Almost the entire country’s farming sectors are included:

  • Cereals and oil seeds, rice, beef and mutton, wool, leather, dairy products, honey, citrus fruits, flowers, fruit and vegetables, grape and wine production, seeds.
  • Agricultural supplies
  • Agro-industrial activity

…Through its communication, representative and management activities, CAF has been the voice of agricultural cooperatives in the public and private fields, both at a national and international level.

…Its aim is to promote the development of the agricultural cooperative system with a view to improving the quality of life for rural producers.
